The multiple-family structure is known as the “Hollywood Riviera” and stands as an excellent intact example of post-war courtyard apartment housing design by the notable architect Edward H. Fickett, FAIA. The architect incorporated what became known as characteristic “Fickett” elements into the structure and site’s design. The structure has a square plan with a central courtyard and an irregularly shaped swimming pool in the center. (Photo Credit: Tony Coelho)
